Let’s kickstart our interview series for Roadburn 2025 by doing exactly the same thing that makes RB so interesting to the people who have an open ear and a love for rabbit-holes. We sat down with Mark Trueman the guy behind Choke Chain, who is a person very different from his music but who uses it in order to get rid of things he doesn’t like. That in itself is a step beyond simple catharsis, as he also tries to expose the bad people in this world by pointing out that they’re really simply that - bad people. We talk about the ideas behind his music, about how he writes his songs and why he likes to play Roadburn so much! This guy will be a really cool act to watch on Friday night! Enjoy!
