Although I’ve never been able to attend one Roadburn Festival, every year is interesting to pick some artists casually and start to discover them. Veil of Sound is helping with this thing, with all the staff working to cover the artists participating in the festival. Another artist I’ve decided to discover is Aho Ssan & Asia.
Aho Ssan is Niamké Désiré, a French electronic musician that is capable to create a kind of experimental music that is engaging and hypnotic; his study of graphic design and cinema gives him a distinctive trait that can be heard in his music. ASIA is Asia Jiménez Antón de Vez, an internationally renowned violinist, graduated with the highest honours from the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
Together the duo brings a performance uniting digital sounds with the contemporary classical instrumentation, an interesting performance that should not be missed.
