Supplicate – why?
2025 not only marks the return of Thou to Roadburn stages but also the year in which several side projects of the Louisiana collective are also performing - Silver Godling and Supplicate! The latter is the Electronica project by Andy Gibbs and if one doesn’t know that this is the same guy who comes up with some of the heaviest riffs east and west of the Mississippi, one might think of two totally different artists. But with this act (and Andy still has several others up his workaholic sleeves) he proves that real artists know no genres, they only know boundaries that need to be tested. This mix of pumping beats, shifting multiple levels of sounds and some hushed vocals in the background will probably make your feet move, your head spin, your mind lose control and everything becoming one huge journey through space and sound!
