Dogs can be terrible for an interview but Dominic Palermo’s dog is just too cute! It made it hard for our head honcho Thorsten not to talk about the dog and concentrate on the topic for the interview - Nothing’s new record A Short History of Decay which is their first after some years and it is once again nothing short of amazing. It has so many multiple levels that are mesmerizing beyond “the wash” that one might expect from a Shoegaze band. He talks about the time after The Great Dismal and how he had to reconfigure himself, his relationships and then also his music. Dominic also tells the great story why there is a horn section in one of the tracks, about his love for poetry and much more. A great interview and YES the dog is just too cute!
