“Life In Parallel” is the new record by Hundreds of AU, one of the finest Hardcore bands ever to come out of New Jersey. In a way there is also a certain sense of “Jersey” in the record and its songs, and be it only the diversity of sound reflecting the diversity of the state or the attitude of getting things done right from the beginning reflecting the “having a chip on your shoulder”-attitude of the Jersey-folks. But of course, the new record is also the band’s way of dealing with the events happening nationwide and around the world. After the band’s initial idea of an astronomically-themed red thread, this is certainly a change that came along with their new singer Brian. There is always a certain sense of urgency with Hundreds of AU and their emotionally charged tracks are fresh and show that the guys still have a lot to say. They do so throughout the ten new tracks and with the help of a lot of friends from the scene and taking all of that into account one can be sure that we have a lot of things to talk about, so enjoy!
