Sailing down the Bosphorus with tripped out, synth-soaked ghosts of Barış Manço, Erkin Koray and Cem Karaca, you watch the magical progfish hop out of the waves to greet you as the listful shimmer of the water prompts you to pop your oversized aviators back over your eyes on this golden day. You bob and weave your head to the infectious beat that has transported you to this sonic market of cumin, mint, thyme and Juno-60. Altin Gün, the Amsterdam-based globe-trotting psychedelic Anatolian Rock enthusiasts, are ready to blow your mind via a kaleidoscopic live show — aurals of which are sworn to rip open a doorway between worlds, cultures, drugs, spices and a pit that is surely bound to turn into a dance party if your soul is prepared for it.
