Winter at Sea – YES!
Sometimes when preparing these specials, one finds something unheard before, something rather unusual, something pretty amazing. While I was was preparing these lines, I listened to Winter at Sea’s last EP named The Sea Shall not have them from summer 2025 and what should I say? Its use of spoken word passages is really effective and highly emotional, especially if you remember that all texts are taken from a book which was in turn inspired by one the grandfather of one collective’s members. There is seemingly no distance between the narrator, the story and the audience! Looking at the list of band members the idea of a collective quickly jumps to mind, and the fact that nearly all of them are in many other bands, think of Din of Celestial Birds, Flies Are Spies from Hell, UpCDownC, Poly-Math and many others, one can see that this is one of these special events - they will perform as a four-piece and blimey, I am sure that everyone attending will be in for a real treat!
