Six years after their last release, the Northern French quartet Fall of Messiah returns and show us why they were missed so dearly. On April 24 they will release their new full-length Green Lands and we here at VoS are proud to give you another track from it - “Meadows”!
Formed nearly 20 years ago and very active up to the pandemic, Fall of Messiah always were a band really representative of a label like Voice of the Unheard, a safe haven for Post-Rock, Post-Hardcore and everything in between. Their ardent mix imaginative linear Post-Rock passages to contrast the emotional explosions behind and in support of the vocals was never one to miss. In that sense they remain a force to be reckoned with because they can do both things equally well - push forward like a true Hardcore unit and also space out like a Post-Rock band should. Surely, they will not necessarily give you crescendoes all the time but they are masters at using Post-Rock elements to create a very shifty sound. All of these trademarks and many more can be heard on “Meadows” and very convincingly at that!
You can pre-order the record via Voice of the Unheard - and if you are not convinced by now, listen to the new single “Meadows” right now!
