Berlin calling. But no, not with some of the stupid Techno stuff that some people associate Germany’s capital with but with an exciting Punk band that knows there DIY principles as well as their musical role models which seem to be somewhere between Killing Joke and Discharge, Birthday Party and Neubauten. Not always in sounds but surely in attitude.
The band uses repetition as one part of their hypnotic soundscapes which they readily cut up by shooting riff rays through them. Combine that with a background wash that results in the vocals really hard to make out and you get a band that could have been sent to us through a wormhole straight out the 80s!
Industry will perform on Saturday, April 18!
