Season to Risk were a really important part of the US Hardcore/Punk underground scene back in the late 80s/early 90s and they surely were one of these bands who were signed by a major label (Columbia) and who did not sell out. They were able to spend a whole summer with Martin Bisi in New York City and that work resulted in probably their best record In A Perfect World which was one huge chunk of (Post-)Hardcore and Noise and all of that combined with a “everything is possible” attitude gave us a record that basically demanded for a vinyl re-issue and fortunately we got this re-issue a few days ago via Spartan Records. Reason enough for us to sit down with three of the guys to talk about all of the things connected to the record, the time in (the band’s) history. If you haven’t listened to the record by now - change it asap and then listen to our interview with David, Duane and Steve! Enjoy!
