Sometimes there are bands whose magic is hard to describe. They might not be virtuosos like the polyrhythmic Tech-Death masters we might feature or the heaviest of riffsters seen here. But they can weave sound carpets you just simply want to bathe in, because it all sounds so soothing - and Salt Lake City-Post-Rock band I Hear Sirens surely is one of them. Their songs have warmth but also strength, are not pushy nor lulling. All of that can also be said of their latest record Acheron released on August 23 via Post.Recordings and dunk!records and the record is so enchanting that we just needed to talk to them. Here you can hear our talk about the new record, an ominous movie, the journey of the band and much much more! Enjoy!
